What: In 2025, Dreamkick World Mission had the incredible opportunity to travel to Guatemala and support young aspiring taekwondo athletes through a special outreach program held at 3 Avenida 5-26, Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala. Through community donations and a successful book drive fundraiser, our team raised over $2,000 to purchase and donate more than 100 taekwondo uniforms for children in Guatemala. For many of these students, receiving a uniform was more than just getting new equipment—it was a symbol of encouragement, confidence, and belonging within the sport they love. In addition to the uniform donations, our team hosted a taekwondo seminar for local students. During the seminar, we taught fundamental taekwondo techniques including basic kicks, punches, blocks, and stances. The event allowed students to learn new skills, build confidence, and connect with others who share the same passion for taekwondo. One of the greatest honors of the trip was being recognized by the Guatemala National Taekwondo Federation for our efforts and contributions to the local taekwondo community. Their recognition encouraged us to continue using taekwondo as a way to inspire, empower, and create opportunities for youth around the world. This outreach program was a meaningful reminder that sports can unite communities across cultures and languages. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make this mission possible. Together, we are helping young athletes pursue their dreams—one kick at a time.
